AiKitchenUSA LLC, doing business as KitchenLoopAI (“KitchenLoopAI,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), provides the KitchenLoopAI application, website and related services.
This Privacy Policy explains the information we collect, how we use it, how we may disclose it, and the choices and rights available to you.
1. Information We Collect
The information we collect depends on how you use KitchenLoopAI and the permissions and features you choose to use.
Account Information
We may collect information such as your name, email address, account identifiers, authentication information, account settings, subscription status and related account information.
Kitchen, Food and Pantry Information
When you use KitchenLoopAI, we may collect or generate information concerning your kitchen and food, including: photos you submit; foods and products detected from photos or other inputs; pantry and refrigerator inventory; product categories and brands when identifiable; quantities and estimated quantities; storage information; expiration or freshness information; shopping-list information; recipe and meal information; and corrections, confirmations and other information you provide.
App and Usage Information
We may collect information about how KitchenLoopAI is used, including: app and session activity; screens and features used; navigation and interactions; scans and uploads; recipes displayed, opened, saved, rejected, cooked or rated; shopping-list activity; recommendations displayed or selected; offers or promotions displayed or acted upon; notification interactions; searches; feature usage; errors and performance information; device type; operating system; app version; and related technical information.
Shopping and Commerce Information
When you use shopping or commerce features, we may collect information such as: shopping-list activity; missing ingredients; product and retailer recommendations; retailer selections; retailer or affiliate click-outs; cart or purchase intent; observable purchase or conversion information; replenishment activity; and related commerce interactions.
Subscription Information
We may receive information concerning your subscription status, product purchased, entitlement status and related transaction information.
Purchases made through Apple’s App Store are processed by Apple, purchases made through Google Play are processed by Google, and subscriptions purchased on our website are processed by our payment processor, Stripe. KitchenLoopAI does not receive your complete payment-card information from Apple, Google or Stripe.
Location Information
With device permission where required, KitchenLoopAI may collect location information while you use relevant features of the app.
This may include location coordinates, location accuracy and information derived from location such as ZIP code, city, metropolitan area, state, market or region.
KitchenLoopAI does not require continuous background location tracking.
Information From Partners and Other Sources
We may receive information from service providers, retailers, commerce providers, affiliate partners and other sources that support KitchenLoopAI features.
This may include information concerning products, prices, availability, retailers, transactions, conversions, promotions and other information relevant to KitchenLoopAI.
Information We Infer
KitchenLoopAI may analyze collected information to generate estimates, predictions and other inferences, including: food, ingredient and recipe preferences; cuisine preferences; likely food consumption; estimated product depletion; likely replenishment timing; likely future kitchen needs; shopping patterns; product, category and brand affinity; brand switching behavior; price or promotion responsiveness; cooking frequency and likely meal timing; shopping or replenishment cadence; recommendation responsiveness; notification timing; Premium subscription propensity; engagement or churn likelihood; and other predictions designed to improve KitchenLoopAI and its features.
Inferences are estimates and may not always be accurate.
2. How We Use Information
We may use information to: provide, operate and secure KitchenLoopAI; authenticate accounts; identify foods and products; create and maintain kitchen inventory; generate recipes and meal recommendations; provide shopping recommendations; estimate food freshness, expiration, consumption and depletion; predict replenishment needs; provide SmartRestock™ functionality; personalize KitchenLoopAI and learn user preferences; improve recommendations over time; determine useful times for reminders and recommendations; provide notifications; support local and location-relevant functionality; operate subscriptions; provide and improve shopping and commerce functionality; measure product performance and engagement; analyze how KitchenLoopAI is used; identify errors and improve reliability; develop and improve features, models and services; prevent fraud, abuse and security threats; personalize and measure eligible offers, promotions, advertisements and commercial experiences; understand aggregate product, category and market trends; support retailer, affiliate and commercial relationships; comply with legal obligations; and protect KitchenLoopAI, our users and others.
3. Personalization and Automated Inferences
KitchenLoopAI is designed to become more useful as it learns from kitchen information and interactions with the service.
We may combine information from different KitchenLoopAI features and interactions to generate predictions and recommendations.
For example, KitchenLoopAI may use previous inventory observations, cooking activity, shopping behavior and other information to estimate when a product may run out or what a household may want to cook next.
These predictions may be used to personalize recipes, shopping recommendations, reminders, product recommendations, promotions and other KitchenLoopAI experiences where permitted.
4. How We Disclose Information
We may disclose information as reasonably necessary to operate KitchenLoopAI and for the purposes described in this Policy.
Service Providers
We may disclose information to companies that provide services supporting KitchenLoopAI, including infrastructure, hosting, authentication, artificial intelligence, communications, analytics, security and other technology services.
Our infrastructure and hosting providers operate in the United States and maintain independently audited security programs, including SOC 2 Type II examinations. A list of the service providers we use is available upon request at the address in Section 15.
Retail, Commerce and Affiliate Partners
When you use relevant features, information may be disclosed to or received from retailers, commerce providers, affiliate partners and similar services as necessary to provide shopping, product, retailer, referral or transaction-related functionality.
Advertising Measurement Partners
In the KitchenLoopAI iPhone app, if you choose “Allow” on Apple’s tracking permission prompt, we share limited app events — such as app open, account creation, sign-in, trial start, subscription and purchase amount — and your device’s advertising identifier with our advertising measurement partners, Meta and TikTok, to measure the performance of our advertising.
We do not share your email address, phone number, pantry contents, recipes, meal plans, nutrition information, dietary restrictions, allergy or health information, photos or precise location with these partners.
If you choose “Ask App Not to Track,” none of this information is shared with them. You can change your choice at any time in iPhone Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking. Your answer never affects your access to KitchenLoopAI or any of its features. This sharing applies only to the iPhone app and is not part of the KitchenLoopAI website or the Android app.
Apart from this advertising measurement, KitchenLoopAI does not disclose personal information to advertising, promotional or partner companies for their own advertising purposes. If we introduce such a use in the future, we will update this Policy and provide the choices required by applicable law before that use begins.
Legal and Safety Reasons
We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law or legal process, enforce our agreements, investigate fraud or abuse, or protect the rights, property or safety of KitchenLoopAI, our users or others.
Business Transactions
Information may be transferred in connection with a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, bankruptcy, sale of assets or similar business transaction, subject to applicable law.
Aggregated or De-identified Information
We may create, use and disclose aggregated or de-identified information where permitted by law.
5. Advertising, Promotions and Commercial Uses
KitchenLoopAI may use eligible information about app activity, kitchen activity, product preferences, shopping behavior, recommendations, general or permitted location information and derived interests or predictions to provide and measure product recommendations, promotions and other commercial experiences inside KitchenLoopAI where legally permitted.
These commercial uses are first-party: the recommendations, promotions and offers you see are produced inside KitchenLoopAI. KitchenLoopAI does not show third-party advertisements inside the app, and the only information shared with outside advertising companies is the iPhone advertising measurement described in Section 4, which happens only with your permission.
You can turn these uses off at any time with the “Offers, Promotions & Commercial Personalization” setting on the Privacy & Data page in the app.
Applicable law may provide rights to opt out of certain uses or disclosures of personal information for targeted advertising, sale, sharing or similar purposes.
Where required, KitchenLoopAI will provide a method for exercising those rights.
6. Location
KitchenLoopAI may request permission to use your device’s location while you use relevant features.
Location may be used to provide or improve local functionality, recommendations, retailer information, market-level insights and other location-relevant experiences.
You can control location permission through your device settings.
KitchenLoopAI does not require continuous background location tracking.
7. Notifications
With your device permission, KitchenLoopAI may send notifications concerning features such as food expiration, replenishment, shopping, meal ideas, account activity and other relevant KitchenLoopAI functionality.
Notification timing may be personalized based on KitchenLoopAI activity where permitted.
You can control notification permissions through your device settings.
8. Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide KitchenLoopAI, fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements and protect the service.
Different categories of information may have different retention periods.
Kitchen images may be retained for a limited period as described in KitchenLoopAI: kitchen and receipt photos are used to identify items and are kept for no longer than 30 days, after which they are deleted automatically. This 30-day ceiling applies to every account and is not a setting anyone can extend.
Aggregated or de-identified information may be retained where permitted by law.
9. Security and Where Information Is Stored
We use reasonable administrative, technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information.
KitchenLoopAI information is stored and processed in the United States. If you use KitchenLoopAI from outside the United States, you understand that your information will be transferred to and handled in the United States.
KitchenLoopAI relies on infrastructure providers that maintain independently audited security programs, including SOC 2 Type II examinations. Provider details are available upon request.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Your Choices and Privacy Rights
You can control certain KitchenLoopAI settings from within the app and certain permissions through your device.
Depending on where you live, applicable law may provide rights concerning your personal information, including rights to: request access to certain information; request correction; request deletion; obtain certain information in a portable format; opt out of certain sales or sharing of personal information; opt out of certain targeted advertising; limit certain uses of sensitive personal information where applicable; or appeal certain privacy decisions where applicable.
The availability and scope of these rights depends on applicable law.

We may take reasonable steps to verify your identity before fulfilling a request.
Where required, we will recognize legally applicable browser or device-based opt-out preference signals.
11. Account Deletion
KitchenLoopAI provides a method to initiate deletion of your account within the app.
When an account is deleted, we will delete or de-identify associated personal information as required by applicable law, subject to information that we are permitted or required to retain.
Deleting your KitchenLoopAI account does not automatically cancel an Apple App Store subscription or a Google Play subscription.
Subscriptions purchased through Apple must be canceled through Apple’s subscription management system, and subscriptions purchased through Google Play must be canceled through Google Play. A subscription purchased on our website can be canceled from the billing page in the app.
12. Children’s and Minors’ Privacy
KitchenLoopAI is intended for users who are 18 years of age or older.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn that we have collected personal information from someone under 18, we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
13. Third-Party Services
KitchenLoopAI may contain links to or integrate with services operated by other companies.
Their handling of information is governed by their own terms and privacy policies where applicable.
14. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to KitchenLoopAI, our practices or applicable requirements.
When required by law, we will provide appropriate notice of material changes.
